International Development Professional

Razan Al Ghussein is an international development professional with expertise in sustainable development, decarbonisation, and environmental economics. She has worked across government, the private sector, and NGOs to deliver high-impact, equitable solutions and support the development of resilient systems worldwide. She began her career in climate change consulting, focusing on net-zero targets and decarbonisation strategies. Razan holds an MSc in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and an MA in Geography from the University of Edinburgh. She is also a Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum and a Future50 Leader through the Forum’s Global Foresight Network and the Global Shapers Community.
