Deputy Director for External Review, AIFC Green Finance Centre

Ainur Zhakupova is a committed expert in green and sustainable finance with over a decade of professional experience. She holds a Master of Public Administration in International Finance from Columbia University. Ainur currently serves as Deputy Director of External Review at the AIFC Green Finance Centre in Astana, Kazakhstan, where she oversees external assessments of sustainable bonds, analytics, and fosters international partnerships. She is also a member of the Rihla Initiative Implementation Council. Her work spans policy development to improve the business climate, market research, and industry analytics aimed at mobilizing finance for sustainable economic growth across Central Asia.
