Duy Linh Nguyen has an interdisciplinary background in Geography and a deep curiosity about the connections between places, people, and systems globally. His career spans multiple sectors and regions, working with international organizations, governments, NGOs, and private companies — primarily focused on international development cooperation and public policy within the energy sector. In his recent role at GIZ, he supported the management of a portfolio of more than 10 projects aimed at promoting a science-based and market-enabled just energy transition in Viet Nam and the wider region, including Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Notably, he contributed to initiatives applying clean energy technologies to sustainable farming practices in Viet Nam and supported studies on workforce transition and vocational training to ensure a just energy transition that leaves no one behind. Passionate about the energy–climate nexus, Duy Linh is committed to advancing sustainable and equitable solutions that foster systemic change and long-term development.
