Felix Yvan Rugwizangoga

Chief Strategy Officer, Rwanda Green Fund

Felix Yvan Rugwizangoga is the Chief Strategy Officer at the Rwanda Green Fund, where he leads efforts to support poverty reduction and sustainable wealth creation through strategic climate financing. The Fund plays a key role in accelerating Rwanda’s transition to a climate-resilient, green economy. Felix also serves as co-chair of the Climate Investment Funds (CIF) Committees, based at the World Bank headquarters in Washington, DC. He holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration (Cum Laude) from USIU-Africa and a Master’s degree in International Development from the University of Manchester, earned through the prestigious Chevening Scholarship. Prior to joining the Rwanda Green Fund, Felix led African partnerships at the Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation. His earlier experience includes serving as Business Development Manager for Rwanda and later as Key Accounts Manager for East Africa at Beiersdorf AG, a leading German multinational. In addition to his strategic leadership roles, Felix contributes to global trade policy through the United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT), a subsidiary body of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). In this capacity, he collaborates on developing international trade facilitation recommendations and electronic business standards under the UN Economic and Social Council.
