Strategy and Business Development Director, SUEZ

Gabriel Miguez is the Strategy and Business Development Director at SUEZ Near & Middle East, where he oversees strategic initiatives and business expansion across the region. Based in Dubai, he brings extensive expertise in environmental infrastructure development—particularly water and waste—as well as business diplomacy and the geopolitics of the Middle East, West and Central Asia. Since 2011, Gabriel has held international roles focused on project development in frontier markets, including North and West Africa, Central Asia, and the Near & Middle East, with a strong emphasis on governmental engagement. An alumnus of Sciences Po Paris and the National University of Singapore, he holds a Bachelor's in Political Science and a Master's in Urban Affairs. Previously, he led SUEZ’s development in the Caucasus and Central Asia and worked as a Business Developer for the company’s International Development Department, supporting expansion into Iran, South Africa, Gabon, and Angola. Earlier in his career, he served as a Project Manager for Public Relations and Institutional Development at LYDEC, SUEZ’s Moroccan subsidiary, and worked as a Research Assistant on urban governance and public-private partnerships in Casablanca.
