Jitsai Santaputra is a Consultant at The Lantau Group based in Bangkok, Thailand. She provides in-depth analysis of energy markets in Asia Pacific and supports global clients on their broader energy transition plans and M&A activities. Her background lies in the renewable energy sector with a particular interest in carbon neutrality, circular economy, and sustainability. Jitsai formerly worked as a Senior Business Development in the solar energy business to develop new solar energy projects and new business ventures. Alongside her professional work, she is a Just Energy Transition Advocate, having represented the ASEAN voice and youth perspective at international conferences such as UNFCCC COP26 & COP28, SEforALL Forum, New York Climate Week, APEC Multistakeholder Forum, BRICS Youth Energy Summit, International Vienna Energy and Climate Forum, and G20 Youth Summit among others. Jitsai champions the inclusion of women and youth in decision making roles and works to raise awareness of the opportunities and challenges of the just energy transition in the Asia Pacific region. In 2023, she co-founded a youth-led non-profit organization called Youth for Energy Southeast Asia (Y4E-SEA) to support and connect youths working on the just energy transition in the region. In November 2024, she received the prestigious REvolutionaries Steve Sawyer Memorial Award from GWEC, Greenpeace, and REN21 in recognition of her role in driving the clean energy revolution.
