Kudakwashe Manjonjo
Just Transition Advisor, Power Shift Africa
Kudakwashe Manjonjo is a climate and political activist based in Zimbabwe working as the Just Transition Advisor and Lead on Critical Minerals and Green Industrialization at Power Shift Africa. His main interests are community-led socio-economic political activism and the growth of the global solidarity economy. He has held professional roles in both academia and civil society in the education, agriculture, and renewable energy fields. His academic interests are in informal labour dynamics, political economy, and green industrialization in Africa. He is also the author of the fiction book, ‘Aluta Continua-The Struggle Continues,’ and holds an MA in Labour and Globalization from the University of Witwatersrand. He is a Mandela-Rhodes Scholar and currently a PhD Fellow with the Southern Centre for Inequality Studies undertaking his PhD studies on economic inequality driven by political patronage.
