Mehtab Ahmed Jagil is a policy and government affairs leader with the Indian Revenue Service, bringing over a decade of comprehensive experience in public administration and policy development. He has contributed to significant modernisation initiatives within India’s tax and customs ecosystem, with expertise spanning public finance and international trade. Mr Jagil collaborates extensively with government bodies at national and regional levels across India and international organisations including the World Customs Organization (WCO). He holds a Master of Public Policy specialising in Economics and Development from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. Currently, he is involved in a comprehensive project focused on climate adaptation and mitigation strategies in India, combining his practical government experience, international exposure, and academic expertise to develop evidence-based policy solutions for the country’s environmental and economic challenges.
