Dr. Nadia S. Ouedraogo is an Economic Affairs Officer at the UN - Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), with over 15 years of expertise in quantitative economics, macroeconomics, econometrics, modelling, sustainable development and green growth, critical minerals, energy, and financing for climate change adaptation and mitigation. She has a proven track record in designing and implementing interdisciplinary research projects, conducting high-quality, in-depth analysis, and teaching economics to graduate students. Dr. Ouedraogo holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Paris-Dauphine. Prior to join UNECA, Dr. Ouedraogo was a research fellow at the United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER) in Finland. Additionally, she worked as a teaching assistant in Macroeconomics at the University of Paris-Dauphine. Her research has been published in leading journals such as Applied Energy, Energy Economics, and Climate Policy. Dr. Ouedraogo has also contributed to numerous high-profile international reports, including the Economic Reports on Africa (UNECA), the World Economic Situation and Prospects (UN DESA), the Emissions Gap Report, and the Global Environment Outlook (GEO), both from UNEP.
