Rumaitha Al Busaidi
Business and ICV Development Manager, Hydrogen Oman
Rumaitha Al Busaidi is an Omani climate strategist, policy advocate, and sustainability leader currently serving as Business and ICV Development Manager at Hydrogen Oman (Hydrom). She is also the Vice President of the Environment Society of Oman. From diving into Oman’s coastal ecosystems as a young marine scientist to now brokering global hydrogen corridors, Rumaitha’s work bridges grassroots environmentalism with high-level climate diplomacy. She delivered a widely viewed TED Talk on the role of women and girls in climate action, which has reached over 1.5 million views, and was recognized by the BBC 100 Women list for her impact. A fellow of the Fiker Institute and member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Energy Nexus, Rumaitha’s mission is to shape policy rooted in justice, innovation, and intergenerational equity. She holds degrees from Oxford and Harvard.
