Saurabh Jain is a climate-finance and sustainability strategist with eight years of experience working across transport decarbonisation, carbon markets, and public-private climate initiatives. He currently works on aligning corporate climate disclosures with emerging policy and investment standards, helping organisations navigate voluntary carbon markets and finance credible emissions reductions. Previously, he led the Expert Peer Review Group for the UN High-Level Climate Champions’ Race to Zero campaign, evaluating corporate net-zero plans and sectoral frameworks. As Special Advisor to the Environment Minister in Maharashtra, he co-authored the Mumbai Climate Action Plan and helped mobilise funding for electric bus deployment and charging infrastructure. With a background in public policy and chartered accountancy, Saurabh brings a practical, systems-focused approach to climate strategy and finance.
